I'd snatch that up if it looks as good in person. Probably get it for $1,000 too.

I think that's the 1st Z I've seen with the white walls out.

There is another listing that shows the price as $12K, and I think I've seen it listed before, so I think the ad for $1,200 is typo

No doubt it's an early car, but why not just list the VIN number? If the seat covers are just on to protect the seats, wouldn't you think they would be taken off for the sale photos? The rust bubble in the fender is really a hole. The luggage straps are missing and the rear interior valance has the access panels to the tail lights which is not early. It looks like it could be a nice restoration candidate but I suspect the price typo is just a reflection of the rest of the ad including the pictures. You'd have to go look at it and bargain in cash. It looks like it's worth more than $1200 but not $12,000.

Picture shows tach needle at 3000 rpm. That either indicates the engine runs or the tach is stuck.

Typo indeed. It's funny, I saw the ad and thought 1,200 was a good deal pending you were good at bodywork. I'm laughing at 12. ha

$12K may be a fair price dependent on the amount body rust. Interior looks very nice and motor is very original as are most of the parts. Dash shows no cracks. Luggage straps may be under the new rear carpet, that piece is not original. Would be interesting to check out. I hate that black side molding, but otherwise may not be too bad.

IMO not worth near 12K, looks like there is a dash cap which is not that big a deal, but also looks like(hard to really tell) there is some cancer on the passenger side rocker panel. It would depend what one found in person and then make a reasonable offer.
