Default Looking for Front & Rear bumper

    Hey Folks,

I'm looking for a front, and rear bumper for the 'Z'

I'm looking for the clean style bumper that do not have any of the mounting holes for the rubber end pieces or bumperettes.

Anyone have any suggestions? Got word yesterday from Motorsports that their supplier isn't making them anymore....

    Thanks

    Phil,
You can take a set to a plating shop they can weld up the holes prior to plating.

Another option is the Harrington stainless bumpers. I have read good reviews about them, also on this forum.

    Thanks for the info guy's...

Chas, I would consider the Harrington Group option.... But WOW, 1200 bucks.... Too bad the Motorsport supplier isn't able to supply them anymore.... they were half the price, I'll probably follow Jerry's suggestion and have the holes on my current one welded close, and then have it re-chromed.

    thanks again

I have the Harrington Group bumpers. They are really nice. What about Black Dragon? They still have the front & rear bumpers listed. $700 for a set.

Here are links to show you what the Harrington Group bumpers look like (with rubber strips):

    Hey Steve,

I just rechecked Black Dragon's website, and it only showed that they could get the front bumper... it looked like they disn't have the rear in stock...

Whitehead racing shows they can get the front, and rear JDM.... I may just bite the bullet and fork out the 1200 bucks

    thanks

Harrington Group gives good service and delivers quickly on top of having a very good product. The bumpers may outlast the rest of my cars.

fyi - i had already purchased a front bumper from black dragon (looks great, happy with it) and now am looking for a rear bumper. i'm interested in the sst version for the rear because i intend to weld it all together and grind out the joints, as well as weld on new mounts to fit my 280, and w/sst i can just polish and avoid the cost of re-chroming.

i contacted harrington and they will sell just the rear - $680 including shipping (to seattle).
    so that's another option...

I'm looking forward to getting the rear bumper mounted on the 260Z. I have to burn off enough gas to drop the tank in order to get to the existing mounts. It's such a sacrifice to have to drive it extra, but I will do it.
