    Default Replacement rubbers

    Hi all,

Who do you guys in the states prefer to source your Z rubbers from?

A guy I know locally said he is looking at importing a full set of victoria british rubbers which will work out to be a fraction of buying genuine nissan items. Sounds good and i might jump on the band wagon.

Is anyone using these rubbers or can recommend others?

    Opinions are appreciated

    Thanks
    James

I wondered as I was typing the initial post whether the terminology would be an issue, I thought maybe the slang would be different on the other side of the world but obvioulsy not, some slang isnt like the fact that we wear thongs on our feet.

Anyways, now that is out of the way, any opinions?

    Question Aftermarket Seals.

    Hey,

Vic B supply aftermarket seals. I was just wondering why you would think that U.S sourced aftermarket seals will be a better quality/fit than a local aftermarket? I'm not knocking your decision, just curious. I work in an industry that supplies these type of seals, and industrial based stuff too. I have no doubt that Nissan would be the way to go, but pricing is a major pita.

Fwiw I have replaced all seals (cept quarter seals) with aftemarket copies and have no complaints.

Anyways, how much does it work out to be?

I think complete rubbers from nissan are around $1.5k

Complete rubbers from say allzparts in NSw are around the $1k mark from memory, i lost their quote

Im getting an exact price on the VB items tomorrow and think it will be closer to half that again.
