I didn't notice any problems when mounting the Harrington rear bumper to my 240Z.
As for other people selling them, go to Datsun 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX and Mazda RX7 Auto Parts & Accessories. They are US $350 for front and $350 for rear.
i want to buy a set of euro shaving bumpers the style without rubbers or holes

I've already installed an early 240Z front bumper on my '73. With the offering from Black Dragon above, I was wondering if anyone has installed early 240Z rear bumpers on a '73? If yes, is there fabrication required or do I just pick-up a set of early 240Z rear bumper mounting brackets and bolt it up?
Has anyone purchased the bumpers at Black Dragon? If so.....how was the quality?

70, 71, 2 72's, and a 73 240z....
90 300zx and a 1996 Acura NSX.....but who's counting?
I don't believe there is any difference between the "73 REAR bumpers vs. the earlier ones. I welded my 3 piece bumper together, filled the holes and had it replated.
Todd,
Wrt differences between early 240Z and '73 rear bumpers, I was going on the info on the Black Dragon ad above (only applies to 70-72 240Z) and from info on MotorsportsAuto related to their Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper, 70-72 240Z (Motorsport! Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper, 70-72 240Z - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts)
"Note: These bumpers can be used on 73 to early 74 Z's, however you must modify a bracket to fit. You can have your own brackets made from scratch, or possibly the easiest method is to purchase early 240Z bumper brackets, and modify them to fit (significant modification necessary)."
So there appears to be a difference. Anyone installed an early 240Z rear bumper on a '73?

$777.65 shipped for the pair according to one poster. The SS bumpers from Harrington/VN at $1050-ish for the pair are likely still the better deal since they will never rust and can be straightened or re-polished if ever damaged without the crazy chrome cost.
Depends on your personal future value calculation.

Did the Harrington bumpers on my 260.
Fit great, look great and was a no brainer to fabricate the brackets to replace the boat anchor shock absorbers the car came with originally.

The ones from Harrington are made in Vietnam I believe, it's polished stainless steel. So no rust, but not original and heavier. I once got an e-mail from Rocky Auto Japan where they said the stock bumpers where made from garbage steel with very little chrome plating ( cheap as possible ). Reminds me of that chrome work I see on the Chinese scooters here..

Jay Leno : You know one week after the Americans have walked on the moon, the Japanese introduced this sports car, and…if you’re a car guy pretty equal. I mean walking on the moon was pretty good, but how many times you’d gonna walk on the moon? But here was an affordable sports car that had real performance and looked like it cost a lot more than it did.
