I just finished wrapping my up in black conduit to make it neater under the bonnet, so a short while ago, it would have been perfect to take photo's of. Always the way. Good luck with it.
Hello
In my ever-increasing frustrations to restore my car to as original condition as I can possible get it I am currently going through the engine bay wiring admiring all of the chopped off wires and aftermarket connectors (seriously, its not all that bad).
Id like to ask if it would be possible to supply photographs of the following areas:
1. Wiring at the starter motor.
2. Wiring from the main engine harness to the starter motor.
3. Rear of alternator.
4. Wiring from the main engine harness to the alternator.
5. Wiring from the engine harness to the oil pressure switch.
6. Connection onto the oil pressure switch.
Please note I am after original/correct details in each case. If you think you can help out with any or all photos of the areas requested please post replies to this forum thread or PM me off list and we will work out how you can send them through.
Thanks for any help.
Regards
Joseph

I drive a Z because there simply weren't enough station wagons to go around.
I took digital photos of the wiring loom before pulling everything out of my 240z so i could remember where everything goes back.

Hey Mr C
Personal thanks for posting the pics for me as requested. They basically confirm my understanding of the areas in question apart from the starter motor wiring, this looks like it may have been changed at some stage (yellow clip doesnt look right).
Thanks again, this info is helpful.
