Does anyone here have any experience with Ultra direct ignition system that my friend sent me from Japan. It came off a L28 3.1. I two total systems and 3 modules, plus Ultra wires. The thing I does not have instructions, I plan to intall in a N42 3.1 with Mikuni 44s. If it works it will be very interesting. All the web research I have been doing on Ultra comes up saying it is for Jags. Not sure what I got here, but my friend is convinced it will work on the Z again. Any advice would be appreciated. Tried to get the system working yesterday but it would not get spark. Anyone ever work with this system? I saw a picture of the system in Lighting Vintage Auto 9 Mag. I was on a G-nose. Anyone with advice would help. Thanks in advance. Maybe Kats might know something about it?

That is the site I was looking for. I did a google search but it did not come up. I was thinking that you might know the website, I was thining of sending you a PM instead of starting this tread. I sent the link along to my friend at Nissan USA who owns the car I am working on. He will interpret the Kanji for me and get me the proper diagram. We should get it fired this weekend. Thanks so much.
OK - good luck. If you get stuck with the translation I'd be happy to take a shot if you think it might help.
Cheers,

Hi Alan,
I have the same concern. I got a old L6 udi setup with japanese user manual and I can't find info about this old setup. Maybe you could help in translate or point me out on something similar.
Here's my setup.
Thanks in advance
