Thank you very much for the hard work and the 280-Z shade, I can now replace my old one that had way too many dust specks that has been on for at least 33 years and I was always embarrassed about the specks. You did a great job.

Mine arrived today, great packing! I haven't taken mine out of the bag yet. I want to avoid handling it too much and covering it with finger prints. Are they fairly durable when you are handling them? This is pretty new territory for me

I got home from a trip today and there was a gift waiting for me by the door. Woohoo! Thanks Arne for all your hard work on this. I'm going to put mine in storage until I decide whether I'm going to replace he front windscreen just live with the pitting.

There is a protective film on the adhesive side, that you should not remove until you install it. With the film on, they aren't too fragile.

I would have it done but I am 95% sure my window seal is no good and leaking slightly. I want to do the seals (rear leaks too) before I make my windshield really cool with the banner

Mine arrived yesterday.

I'm in the process of getting m Z painted now, and that lovely decal will be on a fresh windshield in about 4 weeks. Perfect final touch.

Thanks for doing this. I know the time and effort it took was substantial.

Thanks Arne, A fantastic job you did! Mine arrived in the mail but will have to wait until new glass for the install, too many chips and the seals need doing. I am leaning towards the Datsun though it is really growing on me

Yeah, I know what you mean. I almost decided to switch at the last minute and get a DATSUN for my car. But the 240-Z on mine looks great. If they were something you could change back and forth now and then I'd have both.

I finally have my windshield tint installed. ("New" windshield was required first) I thought I would post a picture as a tribute.

I finally had time to do mine, spent about 1 hour on it, most of the time was removing the old one. Had to use a razor blade and lots of water. Here is the before and none and after pictures. Looks much better, cleaner and not faded. The differences in the numbers are minute.

So final got around to installing this and wouldn't you know I messed it up slightly, is there anyway to get rid of creases?

I was so mad at myself when this happened and the more I tried the worse I made it look. I still have a spare Datsun one to use when I eventually get a new windshield but for the life of me I could not get all the bubbles out around the letters and then of course trying to do that I ended up creasing the side. One side looks awesome the other not so much. I was thinking of trying to shrinking it with a heat gut but that might make it worse. I wonder if anyone has any ideas?

18 DATSUN were ordered and delivered, but you may be the only one installed so far. I really like it on the car, makes me wish I'd kept one for myself.

Your car looks great!

IMHO, think the "240 Z" probably looks better on a red car than the "Datsun" would. It blends-in on my silver car, but think it might be too prominent on a darker color.
