Welcome aboard Thor! Great to have you here. Definitely want to see the picture of the car and mods.
HiMy little car is spending it's last few months of storage in Idaho. Soon to be cruising the coastal roads of northeastern Mass and New Hampshire. Can't wait to find some group meetings and fun runs. Picture to follow shortly. Minor mods: rear discs, GIANT sunroof (removable panel), air damn, flares, and spoiler. 2nd owner, southern arizona car. Silver

Welcome!
You must be going through shock-not having the Z for the last few months!

A Z is beautiful from any angle, I just happen to prefer to view from the drivers' seat!
Actually.. it has been stored in spudland for nearly 8 years now. Started occasionally and made one trip cross country and back. Totall of about 5500 miles since being purchased 11 or maybe 12 or 13 years ago. I've had numerous sport cars so the z has just "been there". rx7, turbo eclipse, '01 ss camaro <-- hooorah!!, 5.0 notchback mustang <-- glutton for light to light funMy DD for the past 4 yrs has been a 96 bronco with 6" lift and 35's <-- a very pretty machine and put together with care. But always loved the little z's. I hope I can control my primal urge and keep the I6 under the hood
Thank you for the kind welcome ..thor
Noooooo, please don't hack a gigantic sunroof in the poor thing. The roof is an important part of the cars strength being of a unibody design.
Put some after market AC in it then at least you'll keep cool.

HS30-00352 still being rebuilt (year 6)
HS30-101370 chopped in half
CZCC #1608
It was already there. The only mod since purchase was the rear disc kit. Roof hack aside, it is one beautiful machine.![]()
If you should ever decide you don't care for the sunroof, your car can be "un-hacked". I know this first hand.
Successful skin graft (roof skin, that is)
