    Default To Japan

    Hey all,

Im heading to japan in early july, and was interested in catching some motorsport and history, or perhaps a combination.

Im heading to Tokyo for the first week, and the Kansai region for the remaining three and a half.

I was particularily keen to have a look at the nismo museum and any other worthwhile motorsport/historical events. Any reccomendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, motorsport related or not

Nismo does not have a museum. They have a little show room up in Kawasaki. I did a behind the scenes tour because my friend was working as an executive at Nissan. I was told my the marketing guy who gave me the tour that it is not common to allow people in the garage and storage area. It was cool none the less, I saw some real cool stuff. I also saw carbon fiber parts of the Calsonic car in the dumpster too. All and all it was a fun day, got some great gifts too.

Maybe theres a nostalgic heros car show going on, or even a drift event.

If you plan on going shopping:

Use google to translate it to English to get the address. Don't know if its anywhere near where you are going to be though, its in Osaka.
