The wife decided she'd heard enough of me complaining about my Ryobi Batterries always dying midway thru drilling, grinding or what have you when working on the 260Z project car. So I got.....

The new 1 hour green Lithium Charger
2) new 18 volt Lithium Ion Batteries.

And a hummer but I don't think that's car related...

Otherwise it's been good. We've mostly put mileage on my stepdaughter's rental car.

I got the love of my darling wife of the last 45 years . A subscription to Nissan Sport magazine , and approval to repair the paint on the front fender/mudguard of our 240. Hell, it's hot here. Definately NO chance of snow where we live Sarah.

I just cracked open MY bottle of Glenfiddich (12 yr old) last night. My dad was looking for something to sooth his sore throat. He prefered some Bourbon but got a real shock when he took a sip of my 12 year old Scotch. I think his throat is Still numb, or at least soothed for the moment, 24 hours later

Hey everyone! My Z's battery uncharged yesterday after I took it out for a spin. I got the battery recharged, but before I could take it home, it began to pour so my zed got drenched... other than that I got a sweet R/C helicopter!

I got a White Christmas in Georgia and was lucky enough not to be there. Not lucky enough to miss it at my sister's house in Pennsylvania.

For my Z I got new carpet.

But as for us, the wife got me a DashMat for the 240, and a DashMat for the GMC Envoy. Also a 2-DVD set of "Comanche Moon," which is the prequel to "Lonesome Dove" (also written by Larry McMurtry).

I went overboard on our self-imposed $100 spending limit on gifts for each other by getting her some books, some tack stuff for her horse, and a $400 set of gold earrings. She's seen me put a ton of dough into the Zed this fall and not only never said a word, but encouraged me to do it. I love that gal.

It was a white christmas at my house. A set of white seat covers, a white headliner, and all new white plastic interior panels for the 72. Down side is that I go under the knife for 3 herinias and a bone spur on the left heal in the morning so won't be fooling with them for several weeks. As Custer is said to have said; "Oh well"

I forgot that you do have a SPL311. Mine was a 70 with 2 liter crank, rods, and pistons, the carbs and five speed from a wrecked 69 2000 parts car I had, and some NLA Datsun comp goodies like the Solex manifold. It was a fun car! The die cast one actually has Mikini-Solex carbs!

• Snap On pull down garage light
• Harbour Freight impact sockets
• Dewalt drill
• Odd bits and pieces for the orange car
• Few odd tools, liners and socket holders from harbour freight

Seems like a lot but lots was from craigslist or ridiculously on sale

Finally getting the new garage organised, just need to get a good bench vise to help with taking the shocks out of the strut tubes.
