sorry I got that wrong, it's this one:
it's the one where the words "classic car" are encased in a badge type border with horrizontal stripes angeling down in a V shape - can't find the web site (as there are heaps of mags called "Classic...

good article on this:

yeah I bought that mag
hmm I think I did something wrong there as it went way off the scales. This place tells me mine should be 220MPH (unlikely it will ever get anywhere near that though)...
Wow, that's a lot of work wor a model!
Have you seen this place:

Interesting you should say that, I bought a English Classic Car Mag on the way back from my new years holiday to read on the plane and it's feature article was about the 240z styling being mistaken...
thanks guys
hmm, confused alright here's the problem in a bit more detail:
- The fuel guage went full all of a sudden
- I pulled the wires off and connected the two directly togeather, the fuel guage went to...
what the hell?
thank's guys, one terminal sent it to full (ground) and the other did nothing so I pretty sure the inbetween seensor / resistor? is gone.
yeah I tried to clean it as well and it was so old the little metal lips broke and it wouldn't go back togeather - strange design I though but I suppose it was the 70's.
I replaced it with a...
I've redone the whole car's wiring - that is dash, lights, winsheild wipers, indicators (still using the 240z switching unit though but that now fires a relay rather than directly to the indicators),...
Hi,

Ivan

hmm, I've only once seen this type of material on a dash, it was so long ago I can't even remember if it was even the same (in a Diablo SVR), can't seem to find any pictures on the net.
I didn't...
removal is easy, fitting is not overly hard, just frustrating (you get two of the rails in and every time you go to put the last one in the other two fall out!).
hmm, never heard of Alcantra, can you post any links?
I have had all my interior (except the dash) done in tan vinal and the seats done in tan leather + new custom made floor and boot carpets.
upgrading the actual pads can also yield significantly better breaking
Is this the rubbery / plastic material spread over the inside floor and console pannels?
If so I don't think there is any paint under them, something to consider and my ones didn't take much heat...
There's still time for Holden, Murphy's only 24 points behind after Pukekohe and there's still one round left!
Much more close this year with Ford upping their game a bit.
I'll see if I can find the magazine but a year ago or so this Japanese guy brought his RB26DETT powered 240z over to NZ for some drag championship at the time and pulled an 8.6xx
