This service from Ztherapy has been absolutely outstanding. This assures me of my decision to purchase my 260Z round-top conversion from them last year. ;)

Assuming the valvetrain has already been removed, that's all I can think of.
I did that to my '74.
Before (black plastic pieces removed)

I repeat....this thread is NOT about a differential mount.
Thanks to TomoHawk for the info. I'll look into it.
I'm aware that the RT diff mount uses a Chevy trans mount, but i'm looking for a replacement for the factory transmission mount. If the Chevy mount works for that too, that'd be awesome.
Does Energy Suspension or any other aftermarket company make a transmission mount for the original L26-4 speed combo? Mine is shot and I don't wanna shell out $70 for the factory replacement. I've...
I would have taken all of that stuff off before I took the glass and everything else off. Color looks good, though.
You're welcome. I had my tank chemically cleaned at a local radiator shop and it looks MUCH better now.
Ah......this thread brings back memories.

Looking great!
The one word of advice I can give is make SURE every little nook and cranny is wrapped/taped around that engine bay. Overspray can creep into places you wouldn't believe and you wouldn't want that on...
Buy 260Z, swap bumpers, be happy. :)
So, I'm getting back around to finishing the brake project that I started oh so long ago. I'm going to clean out all the lines and everything, and I'm wondering how I need to clean the proportioning...

If you're eliminating the coolant lines and stuff that go around the back of the engine to the carbs/intake, then this is what it should look like.

Dupli-Color makes an excellent Self-Etching Primer as well. Might be the same as Rustoleum though. I used it on some control arms and was shocked at how easy it made the job. If you get the metal...
I'd be interested. I'm currently redoing the brakes on my 260 and need new drums.
At any rate, we're all covered.
I hope you have more time to devote to it than I do! ROFL
Sounds good! Glad to see they are continuing the great service. Surely, after receiving basically the same inquiry from three people with 3 different suppliers, they will recognize the problem and...
Me too!
Haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately but I did get the front lines flushed out and the right front side torn down yesterday. Progress pics coming later on today.
BTW, I...
Mine are Tokico and do not have the filters in them.
Sorry. I checked MSA and Rock Auto and nothing was listed either place.
I'm guessing what I need is pictured as "Filters" in that diagram? Both of mine are apparently missing the entire lower...
Anyone know where to get these? I'd like to buy just the seals, if they're available. Thanks.
