What? Fake bids? On ebay??? Say it ain't so! Anyway, the black Z appears to be built to much higher standards than the BRE-type car.

I've used Zedd Findings floors and frames several times. They fit well and are easy to install. Based on your pictures you'll need their floor/frame kit. Last time I checked he also made the front...
You can put them in the bore and see if they fit. Maybe someone put the correct rings in the wrong box. But odds are that you'll have to get 40 over rings.

Thanks. I love my Datsuns! I also have a BMW 2002tii, 2002 turbo, Pantera, supercharged Lotus Elise and V-code Road Runner. Now how do you feel? lol
Anyway, sounds like something isn't right at...
If you went to the parts counter back in the day and got an air cleaner it was blue. I have one as a spare.

Joe Curto is the guy my brother has had come to Carlisle to do seminars on the SU carbs. Here's his site: JOE CURTO, INC.

Do you know any good Z racers in your area? The good ones can help you out with the carbs. lol Just messing with you.
I sent a text to my brother to see what he knows. He knows a lot of the...

Hmmm...I guess it could be a loose bushing or missing rack clamp on the right side. Drive carefully!

If the ball joint lost some bolts or is severely worn then that could be the culprit. There aren't too many things that it can be. I wish I was closer so I could have a look.

Take some pictures for us. Maybe something will jump out. If the wheel turns side to side then it's probably the tie rod or rack. Make sure the two bolts holding the steering knuckle to the strut...
Hood and C-pillar emblems are the same. The 1974.5 260Z has the same bumpers as the 75-76 280Z. There may have been some different paint options too.

1977-78 280Zs have the vented hoods. The vents weren't just added. That area was stamped for the vents which bolt in.

Dwight from The Office drove a 280Z early in the series IIRC. After that he was in a Camaro.
Chuck
That's tempting but probably a little too far for me. Where and when is it?
Chuck
Generally speaking if you're looking for "comfort, reliability, and A/C" then I'd say go for a 280ZX. It really depends on your budget and skills.

The situation wouldn't have been reversed. I wouldn't have backed out of a deal. I'm posting this in public so others can be aware that you could back out at the last minute.

On Wednesday I offered $500 and you accepted. I made plans for my brother and friend to get the parts today. You emailed me yesterday??? Yeah, last night at 9:22PM and I didn't see it until after...
Couldn't they be the original cables with the black plastic removed? The bends at the end look as nice as factory bends. And if you replaced the factory cables with generics then why put in the...
I want to warn everyone on here that this guy is a flake. I told him that he could get more if he takes the time and effort to clean the parts, take pictures and sell them individually. I made plans...
Where are you in PA?

Who said, "Waste of money to get the exact suspension set-up you want and the ability to change it to suit future needs?" Where did that come from???
It's a waste of money if he's "not interested...
There's no need for a coil over kit on a street car. It's just a waste of time and money. Get some shorter spings and a set of sway bars like the guys above said.
The bigger bumpers were required...
