Patriotism and Ugly all in one inop package. Who could ask for more?

Do you have some comparison numbers at this point on turbo vs stock, or is it mostly "seat of the pants" evaluation. I imagine a turbo makes it scream.

If this is the "most stupid forum", please tell me which forum is smartest and has provided the answers to your questions. I'd like to join that forum. I await your answer and will be rudely upset...
It certainly was a different time. I think I still have some of those bell bottoms in my closet, next to the Nehru jacket, just waiting for the style to come back.

Good for flats caused by screws and nails, not so good for sidewall cuts and blowouts. My Infiniti came without a spare - just an electric pump and a bottle of "Shoe-Goo" type flat fixer. Downside...
I think that's a healthy way to look at the Vintage Zs. They are a subtype unto themselves and really shouldn't be compared to restored Zs or low miles "barn find" Zs. Just like a "real" Scarab V8...

Good as new! Maybe even better.

I'm guessing that you've posted the same question on BMW, Toyota, and Mazda forums, too. What kind of feedback are you getting from other sources?
Since you realize that any answers will be...
Never pay the asking price and don't worry too much about the cracked dash. Mine has been cracked for about 35 years and the car is still as fun to drive as when it was new :)

It's been years since I've checked Classifieds. Ebay tends to be my "Go to" used parts source. As for the Hybridz.org method of posting to Classifieds, one MUST be a Donating member of the forum in...

If you get the reproduction chrome trim pieces that cover that area and attach through the holes in the lenses, no worries about the black lines. Your originals are removed. Ebay and MSA are your...
The Quarter Mile test works for me. Plus, if made from old slicks, the trim pieces could be marketed as "Speed Equipment". No downside. LOL
My apologies to those who come to this forum looking...
Bumper trim made of tread cut from used racing slicks would probably look better. Or, even more impressive, snow tires :)

I've bought a few hard to find early Z items from Datsun Spirit over the years. Good service, able to get "unobtainium" type parts, OK prices, and good communication on orders. One man's opinion....
"Twin Pipes" would be a perfect title if the flow through on this topic remains unrestricted.

Didn't know that MSA had the screw for the handle. I'll be picking one up the next time I stop there. Thanks for the tip.
Dennis
If you do, I hope you have tiny fingers and tiny tools. That's a very small set screw. BTW, I need one, too, for the last 32 years. :)

Nice looking alternative style. I like the flow of the body lines. Sort of the "Shooting Brake" body style that's been around forever and used by Jaguar and Ferrari recently.

Might be a bit high. I had the unit that MSA sells installed with electric fan for about $1,600 a few years ago in SoCal. The unit you're looking at may be more expensive, but installation cost...
If the video is too large, you could load it on YouTube and just post a link to it on this fourm.

Vinyl, plastic, rubber flooring is typical of utility vehicles like pick up trucks and your FJ as it's easier to clean/hose the crud and corruption up after work or play. The Z generally doesn't go...
