I've seen that and whilst it's would pass as original to most, I feel it's not quite there. The lower metal pice at the base of it isn't the same size or shape. The thickness of it is different to...

Very interesting indeed. I can't imagine you would get much rest in a rally car though :).
Were these cars referred to by any special name in the factory?
EG: the PS30-SB was the Z432R and the...
Nice 240k I can't believe you found 1 like that around. I've not seen 1 like that in years. I hope I can find 1 like that one day.
ooops - wrong post.
So the car is stamped PS30 and not HS30 right? It left the factory as a 432? Or was it stamped HS30 but built using the techniques of the 432? The article in the magazine went some way toward...
Problem is there are none left now to know what to gauge their value at. I'd try and pick one up for $1 - $2k myself. However they are just getting so rare now.
Hey buddy anymore updates on this car? Just came across it now. I would love to get stuck into a K one day. Have always liked them and felt kinda sorry for them rotting away unloved in many junkyard...
Great let us know how it turns out. Would be definitely interested in seeing some footage of the old Zeds, especially the older stuff.
Fantastic car. Cool story behind it too.
Yeah I saw it mentioned on grandjdm. Best of luck with it, we need magazines like this in English :).
I'm actually all for alternative fuels and the like in Zeds. While I love the original L-series I wonder if someday when there is no oil left, what alternatives we will have?
I have been looking...
The so called JDM Nissan cover is not JDM.
It was used on the 280zx in Australia. I've seen it on many L28's some with N42 head some with P90.
I'm not in Australia at the moment, I'm actually...

Love that movie, but never saw a Z. Guess I was too busy "working on the guns" :)
Hi Mike,
I have been wanting to create one for over a year but can't justify the time involved yet. I studied this field at Uni but didn't get to develop my skills too much further. I'd really like...
Hi Curtis,
From the looks of your avatar you already have the sort after "euro" tail lights with amber turn signals. I say "euro" because in Japan, Europe, Australia and NZ we were given these tail...
They seem like a very cool set up, however I have bought myself a set of Triple 44 Mikuni's already. I have 4 SU carbs here also, so I could easily set this up with just a manifold. Given I'm in...
Sounds good I saw some videos on YouTube.com of Mike's yellow 240z with triple SU's manifold it looked awesome. Is that your work? :rambo:
I was thinking of getting ones made up that read "Fairlady Z" it would work better with the Flares :).
Hi Alan, those articles look great. I'm hoping Lachlan can help me get a copy of each. Particularly love the old works rally cars. Are the owners in the process of returning them to what they were...
If it's ugly why do you want pictures? LOL
Yeah I had the same problem and realised the image I was upload, was larger than 1.0mb.
Hi Everyone,
I find it interesting that there are two versions of the NISSAN cover. I recently sent one to a friend in the US. I kept the one that I'm half finished polishing with the larger FONT.

Hi Craig not sure what options you have here really. The original ZG ones are very expensive $700+ that's with the chrome trimming which is really the expensive part.
I don't know of anyone who...
