I've never seen any in Dallas myself, but I've had people send me cameraphone pics of them when they saw around town.
I've seen a few in Austin, mainly parked.

Well your'e in luck because the ZCCA international convention is coming to Dallas May29-June2,2006. The Z Club of Texas and Cowtown Z Club are hosting and you don't want to miss this extravaganza. If you can't find Z guys in Texas, your'e not looking. Contact the clubs and join one of them.![]()

I'm in dallas but dont' have a Z anymore. Hope to again some day though. I'm in the lower greenville area. I know of 3 or 4 240Z's in my immediate area (nice brown '73 parked right on greenville ave every night near my house). Know a guy in Garland with a 240Z and 280Z (has my rotisserie right now...). And a few others here and there. There's a z car mechanic in the Irving area but i can't think of the name of his shop right now. He works on '70 to '83 Z's and ZX's. Join the ZCOT but be prepared to suffer through a lot of 300/350ZX talk. I didn't get much out of the 2 meetings I went to except I met a guy who has been some help to me. michael
edit: found the shop

How do you do a member search by their location?Originally Posted by Fun_in_my_z
go through the list of member and check their profiles. But it could take awhile!

lol, Bill, there are over 9,000 members. I think it'd take a bit longer than just a while!!
Better to post a topic asking![]()

I've got time on my hands, but not that much. May be a good idea to make location a search query in the members dbase.
Hey Dreco. Sorry to chime in so late but just saw the post. This is my first post on this site. I'm in San Antonio. Just bought a 73 240Z. I've been surfing the site gathering information on first gen Z's for some time now. I personally know of two other Z car owners here in the San Antonio area but I have seen several other cars driving around including a right hand drive Fairlady that appears to be a daily driver!
Hey Dwigley, did you happen to buy that red 240 on Craigslist San Antonio?
There's an entire z-club here in San Antonio, their web site is www.z-sport.com. There's monthly meetings and such. Haven't been to one, being a bit antisocial, but maybe sometime.
Hey MPerdue, the brown Z across from the San Francisco Rose on greenville is actually a 74 260Z..... guy won't do anything with it but let it rot there....
and yes, there are more in Dallas, I see them here and there..
mine is down as the l26 had to go to make way for an LT1.... go ahead and bash me, I am used to it... that's why I mostly hang out at www.hybridz.org![]()
