    Default 1978 Glovebox

Did the glovebox on the 1978 280Z have a big notch in the back? I mean the right side is deeper than the left, so the owner's manual doesn't lay flat- you have to curl it up. I think it's notched for the defroster hose to have room back there.

I'm just used to a glove box with a regular square shape, or is that right with the notch?

Here is what did 4 year ago or so. I cut 280Z glovebox to fit 240Z glove box opening. You need to cut it right so i does not push-in the duct too much.

I thought we answered this in the other recent thread. As well as in Tomo's other threads on this subject over the years. Note that the manual is not curled up.

    Stephen,
The lower rear corner is starting to curl-up. I think we should find a nice Honda glove box convertion.

I don't think thats caused by his glove box I'd hate to see what TomoHawk's Owners Manual looks like
