that looks to be a nice one; they are super rare now, that price seems about right to me
Buy-It-Now is $4000.00 and he is taking offers...

Problem is there are none left now to know what to gauge their value at. I'd try and pick one up for $1 - $2k myself. However they are just getting so rare now.
Heres one slightly cheaper from Japan

I don't believe it did, tbh. Fairly certain that was one of a few things that was missing in the look-a-like conversion, very hard and very expensive to get everything.
Actually, no.
Lachlan's had the proper GT-R rear badge along with the 'SKYLINE' emblem, not 'DATSUN' so unless a lot has been changed in that regard then including the change from earlier rear reflectors to late, then that's not Lachlan's at all.
I'm sure Lachlan told me where his car went, but I cant remember. Don't think it was the US. He does have pictures in his gallery of the GT-R surrounds, so I think he did get them. No pictures of them on his car though.

Hey guys. Yes I did have the tail light rings and no I don't think that's my old car.
There are many "GTR" things missing on that car!! It does look pretty cool though.
Guys, there is another coupe on ebay, item 320433721593, or try:

Hi SHM17Y,
Sorry to have disappointed you, but I was looking for a 240K coupe for a long
time now. I'm new to this forum, or any forum for that matter. I can assure you that I will be restoring this 240K and converting it to a GTR replica (which
i'm sure has been done before). Yes it is a bit "Rustic", but that is mainly restricted to the edge lip of the boot and bonnet. This will be a long term project for me, as getting time to work on the 240K will be hard. I look forward to hearing from any members who might have any info on this particular car's history. The sale included some service receipts and the original owners manual, which had the first owners details, I'm happy that it is a factory 4spd manual, as this was specifically what I was looking for. Anyway I will try and post some photos of it in the future, once I get the hang of this forum thing.
cheers.
Welcome aboard. I think this forum has the largest collection of K owners online, so you're definitely in the right place.

Hi,
Nice to be welcomed.Just thought I might show some recent photos of the 240K coupe I purchased
recently, the only things that I have found to be missing are the two horizontal chrome strips for the front windscreen (top strip and bottom strip),
and little red rectangular reflector for left side of rear bumper. If anyone has
any spares of these please let me know. I tried to attach photos to this message but it won't allow me, I will try and work it out and send photos on my next post.
Regards:240KtoGTR
congratulations on the purchase, best bet with photos would be add them to an album on Something like "photobucket" and just link them into your posts, all the instructions are on photobucket, there are also plenty of other Websites that offer the same deal, IE: FREE!!!
As for the Reflector, i dont know if anyone here has a spare, but i do know that they are No Longer Available from nissan, and the ones available in Japan, are worth HEAPS!!!
Thanks for the info for the photos,
but I managed to work out how to do it on this forum.
As for the reflector, I was hoping to just walk into my local Nissan dealer and buy one off the shelf!!!! (Just Kidding)
damn.

Hi Ovenfood,
Yes, my 240K was imported to Australia...... in 1973!!!
When I bought it, it came with some original paperwork, including the "warranty and service booklet". On the inside front cover it lists the original owner and the delivery date, being 28/12/1973, (the compliance plate is 11/73). Also the distributor, being "Capitol Motors" in Auburn, Sydney, and also the selling dealer, being
"Nuline Motors" in Coonamble, N.S.W. As far as I can tell, it is still completely original, and according to the previous owner of 5 years, has never been in a major accident. I guess I thought all 240Ks came with timber handbrake handles, until you pointed that out. Maybe it was changed by a previous owner? Do any other early 240K owners have timber ones as well???
A further discussion is imminent!!!
Hello guys. Like my favorite slot machine, Antiques Appraiser, says, I'ma "Ask an expert". OK, I have a NOS speedo and like to confirm for sure what it is before selling it this week. Found it three years ago and part number is 24850-R5000 and reads on the box "C110 240K GT". Was told a parts catalog has it as a assy speedometer (150mph/240km) option GT / Hardtop 6/73 and up. Pics of it and more info is in the thread called ANOTHER YANK KENMERI. If anyone can further confirm this is what it is thanks.

Heres the pics of it I was asked for with the box and part numbers.
Photbucket pics link here -> Speedo Pics
Hopefully the info I have about it being for a 6/73 car is correct.
Thanks.

Certainly looks like a C110 240K speedo, only sold in export Datsun 240K not the JDM skyline. Although I thought they only come in KPH not MPH? Factory aftermarket part perhaps?
It can be easily made to fit a 510 aka Datsun 1600 so you should fetch a nice price

1974 Datsun KHGC110 240K GT Hardtop
Hi Flauski, thanks for that info. Yeah, it's a genuin Datsun / Nissan part by Kanto Sekie. I bought from the UK or should I say England which explains why it reads in MPH. Reason I bought was I was planning to put it in a B210 at the time and from what I remember what I paid for it was a little ridiculous. It's my understanding this was made in anticipation for the 5 speed cars since it goes up to 150mph and is a very early part number. Just had it on ebay for the first time and it didn't sell at $99 with a Buy It Now of $300, so it may be rarer than I thought if no one else really knew about it existed. Oh well, I'll try again or maybe it just be smarter to hold out for more now
we'll see. . . Thanks again ~Z~

This is what's in my '73 Coupe
MPH. on the inside, Km/h on the outside.
