Hey everyone,
I have a bunch of parts that I would like to clear out of my garage. I have an engine from a 71 240z (minus the carbs), 4 slotted mags with tires, 6 original steel wheels with tires (4 from my car and 2 spares). I also have a hatch. I am willing to give them away to people that need them but the big problem is going to be the shipping. These aren't small items. If you are interested in any of them, let me know but be prepared to have suggestions about shipping. I live in Indianapolis so local pickup is very welcome.

Drive shaft, radiator with shroud, e-brake handle and cable, set of louvred inspection lids, heater core, EFI relays, clutch secondary cylinder X 2, clutch master cylinder, brake master, brake booster (don't know if it works), 4 speed tranny, single pickup and dual pick dizzy, oil pump (non turbo), alternator, windshield wiper motor (works but is slow), center console mounting bracket, tranny rubber interior seal and metal bracket (goes over the shift lever to interior floor), shift lever, plastic heater duct (Y type), defroster plastic horns, dash center console has a broken corner where the air ducts are with air control panel, ignition control module X 2 (don't know if either is any good) and last a 350# paper weight which used to be an L28 block. If no takers, most of this stuff will go to the re-cyclers. PM with any questions, just pay shipping for parts you might need. Thanks.

I've got a pair of nice tail light harnesses for Series 1 240Z - i.e. through 12/70 production or so. The Series 1 harnesses use larger terminals and connectors than the later 240Z, so these are not compatible with later cars. $6 shipping (within the US) and they are yours.

I have two IAPCO cap and rotor sets for 79 and up 810/280ZX and a used K and N 33-2010 air filter that would need to be cleaned and oiled. It fits 75-78 stock 280Zs, 77-80 810s as well as many other Nissans. Yours for postage.

i have a full motor and 4 speed tranny and 2 e88 heads not complete. i need a n47 head i broke a cam tower bolt off and had some other issues with it like a couple rocker arms falling off. im here in texas in fort hood but the things i listed are in ohio. you can see my problem in the help me thread if any advice you want to give thank you all on here best site ive been part of.

I "think" all L seres engines have the same front cover. But no worries My friend at work is welding mine back up for me. It did not have a large crack just a small stress crack from a little puncture.

well the reason i was askin is there is a 1980 280 zx near me tht the guy wants little to nothing for,i am hoping the pressure regulator is the same, and its a five speed as well so if the cover is good its yours. then u wont have the weld marks or grind marks

Air Flow Meter: device used in stock L-Jet EFI to determine engine load.
or
Air Fuel Meter: a gauge that outputs an 02 sensor reading from your exhaust stream.

Totally different things.

Up for grabs here is a truly rare item, a key with the word "Interpart" on it that I believe to be a louvre key. I put a Chastain shadow louvre on my car but this ket won't fit it. If this is something I need for my 1970 240Z someone please enlighten me to so I don't give it away but I can't imagine that I need the key. Yours free, I will even pay postage though I imagine it will be quite a bit for such a large, heavy unwieldy item.

I'd like to offer up help with providing hardware. I have parted out several Z's and have drawers of hardware. I have kept all the unique stuff and a lot I might never use. So drop me a line - I might have that specific bolt for your car.

I have a pair of after market plastic door mirrors that came with my Z that the previous owner had installed. They are the ones on my car in the avatar picture. They are available for shipping costs and include the four phillips screws (two for each mirror) that mounted them to the car. They have turn signal lights forward and rear facing which the original mirror did not have. These mirrors have two flaws.

1. The mirrors flop around and tightening the adjustment screw to make the mirror secure is only a temporary fix. A drastic, but possible solution might be to make sure they are pointed the way you like and then glue the hidden ball and socket mechanism in that position. Gluing in only one spot might make them re-doable if the glue could be cut off and re-done. This glued joint would not be visible with the mirrors on the car.

2. The rubber boot keeps popping off the mount on the car of where it is supposed to stay. It does stay on the mirror okay. There is a lip on the rubber boot that is supposed to keep it in position but it keeps coming off. A possible, fairly drastic solution would be to glue them on to the mounting base and then poke tiny slits right where the two screws are to allow removal with a phillips screwdriver.

This steering wheel is available for shipping costs. The weight for shipping will be 39 lbs plus at least 5 lbs for the box, figure a total of 45 lbs to be on the safe side. It was on my car when I bought it and did work until the horn button rubber deteriorated. I put an original steering wheel on the car. The Nissan emblem was in the middle of the rubber that deteriorated.

I have an original to a 11/75 - 76 280Z rubber bushing that goes in the steering column to give away. I also have one I had made from a material called Fabreeka, it is a hard rubber impregnated layered cloth. I have one on my car now. I installed and had them made back around 1979.

Took all my old brake parts along with some other stuff to a local auto parts store so they could be sent in for cores, which works out nicely as I couldn't bare to just toss 40 year old parts, now they will be rebuilt and return to other z cars.

Interesting thing about the brake boosters... Although a parts remanufacturer might be able to rebuild an old booster, it's probably not something that WE can do ourselves. I remember back in 1983'ish when I disassembled a slightly leaky brake booster in my '75 280Z, carefully following the information laid out in the factory service manual. After I identified the parts that needed replacing, I went to the local Datsun dealer to put those parts on order. NO internal parts were available, and they told me I wasn't supposed to open the can to service the internals. I shamed them into selling me a replacement booster at cost, because my old booster wasn't really all that bad, and I wouldn't have disassembled it had I known I was essentially destroying it, and the official Nissan manual indicated I could accomplish what I was trying to accomplish, were it not for a failure in parts support.

PPS, An idea for woodworkers out there: Strip the squishy, squirmy rubber off the steering wheel, and create a genuine wooden steering wheel. Assemble the exotic hardwood pieces of your choice in two halves, and assemble over the frame with epoxy. Shape it, finish it, admire it. Do you shifter in the same wood. I already have an old wheel slated for this project. I have an idea for doing it in a silvery tiger maple to match the colors of my car.

I already have an old wheel slated for this project. I have an idea for doing it in a silvery tiger maple to match the colors of my car.

i've got a squishy wheel to donate to this cause as well, maybe we can get a pool of folks who have replaced them (gotta be lots by now) and if someone were to make a CNC pattern they could bang out replacement wood surrounds in bulk and maybe sell a really cool item!

1972 Exhaust Manifold. Picked it up off a local for free, and I decided i'm just going to go the header route. Free for anyone who wants to pay for shipping. Emissions piping is cut/pinched off and inside the manifold some of the tips are ground down to the cast manifold. Collector has been modified to what looks like a 2 1/4" collector.
