Well, at least the engine has been boarded out!
Found this on craigslist in Boise Idaho. I've no affiliation to the car (or Boise). Kind of cool and a lot of work!

Looks like a good amount of engine work despite the owners lack of knowledge. It looks like he's running a wasted spark ignition with the triples. It probably goes pretty good if it's tuned well

Not a big fan of body kits, but I am a big fan of 65 GTO's. I like that FrankenDatsun.

I think he meant by 'boarded out' was that he sent it to a machine shop where they kept it and fed it for an extended time![]()

Those are well made kits. And rare as the company that made them was sued out of existance by the Prancing Horse Co.

I would never buy a kit, I like the way Z cars look stock, But I have seen worse modifications. It really does not look that ugly. (maybe strip off the ferrari badges as it is not a ferrari).
So, uh, how much does it cost to stay a night in the boarded out engine?

Boarded out or not, I have to say that's a sharp ride. Like my lil Z car more, but wouldn't kick it out of the shed for leaking crank seals.
I agree. It's a pretty car. I just hate to see a nice car (a Z) made into something it's not. A G-nose kit would be somewhat similar and would at least be authenitic -- sort of. Of course I suppose the intent is to make everyone think you own a Ferrari.
My last three sports cars while I still owned all three:
2001 BMW Z3 Roadster 3.0i soft/hard top (sold)
1966 Ford Mustang Coupe (sold)
1978 Datsun 280Z (enjoying very much)
