Nice mate! Why the RX7's out of curiosity? Nice sticker too!
Can run 14's with them which is the biggest reason. Minimum requirements are 14x7.5-4 which is easy, you could go skinner but would require a bolt on wheels spacer.

Hrmm would love to see this setup. 4 pots mate?

How hard is it to seperate skin from door?
Hard haha. I'm not sure if there is a actual tool out there but I have a home made tool that lifts the edge up a little and you just work it along with a pound hammer.
The door has 3 small spot welds along each side which you have to drill out.
This door probably took me 30~45 mins to do. Use the same process on bonnet and guards as well.

Ah I see, that's handy with the 14's.
Awesome work on the body mate.
Oooo I've been looking for mirrors. Nice find.
And that taillight garnish!!! Nice work. Was it expensive?
Well done

Flare kit I'm also happy with, cost about 16k off yahoo. I also have a set coming from Restored so I will compare the difference once that set comes.

I see you do not have the earlier speedo..
Datsun 240K
Turboed L24, Megasquirt II, EDIS
Current project
was a spare cluster, my original one has the needles missing so I will do the same deal with that with another spare cluster and salvage parts. I remember reading about early/late speedos but I cant remember what the reference was towards it.
Wanted: Hardtop interior pieces
The early one has Mile Per Hour, and Kilometer Per Hour on the same face,
The tachometer are different with how they capture the RPM ( different electronics )

It's to do with electronic ignition. I'm running the top type which is induction based and I believe works fine with an electronic dizzy. There is some talk about it on here, in the electronics section.
arh, just found it. cheers

Looks awesome!!!
Holy crap!!!!!! What size 15x 10? Mine are the same but baby sized 14 x6 i put on mine yesterday haha
14's.
you got a set of 4? if not I'm getting some 6 or 6.5s and getting tyres fitted to them and shipping them over and selling the rims only if you after some more.
Wanted: Hardtop interior pieces
Yep all 4 for $350 had to drive to Gympie to get them which wasn't so bad I will ask but mine have no stickers to say what they are BUT there stamped Japan and a build date 92/1 ( I would have been 1 when they where made ><)
only the newer watas have/had stickers. older style are either cast in with the size or stamp punched in
Wanted: Hardtop interior pieces
Ill take a photo tomorrow and let you decide I have no idea haha
i have a problem lol

Final check for door gaps
And finally got a set of these
They are still in japan and unsure on internal specs but they are 44's. Bit of a gamble but hopefully they pay off.
Wanted: Hardtop interior pieces
Whats the process with the stoneguard? And did it have to be tinted or was it grey to start with?
Bout time you updated....but WHAT an update!
