Default Please allow me to explain last weeks thread.

    Hey guys.
Many of you had read and were following the thread I wrote titled "9 1/2 year member saying Goodbye" I think I need to clear up a few things. I had a very bad week and was on edge for most of the week previous to the Saturday thread.

Apparantly there were some glitches, both in the software at CZCC and in my brain. Best way to explain it was I was asked about being a Club Sponsor, then my thread had dissapeared. That, and the previous week sent me over the edge. Like I told mike, "I'm SO NOT That Guy" I'm calm, cool and collective, I keep my head in the worst of situations. So I have No idea where last weeks thred came from, it's just not what I normally do.

Me and Mike discussed it in detail. Apologies were made on both sides. We agreed that me up and leaving wasn't very fair to anyone who I have or may help in the future. Yes, I've slowed down my frequency of visits lately. Mostly due to the lack of new threads with content that that hasn't already been covered. New members really need to learn the Search function, on this and every car related site. Most car sites have been up for years, which means tons of compiled info over the years. If you have an issue with your 240Z, IT"S Been Covered at least once.

Mike says he's looking for a way to retreive the "SENT" box PM's that dissapeared do to Programming which automatically kills PM's when you're "WARNED" I was wrong to air the Preverbial Dirty Laundry in public, and I apologize for that. So I'll be sticking around for a while longer. If you guys don't mind, that is.....

This z community is just like a family, and we have all had one those days, weeks or even years. Glad to see you were able to work it out, diplomacy prevails. You are a wealth of knowledge and inovative ideas, which you are quick to share with others in the community. I always read your threads and posts as I am sure to learn something. Thanks for sticking around.

as we all have done what you did in some form or another....and you are a real man for posting your sincere apology above!

THAT makes this site so much better!
There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply.

Everybody has a "Bad-Day" one or more times during any year ........ it leads to venting to relieve the pressure.

You had the balls to apologize in an open forum ........ not many people would do that.

Forget about the event and move on.

Your contributions to Z-cars and this site are too valuable to let you stray.

You have a zillion attaboys in the bank to offset an occasional aw-****.

Well said and well done by all. I like this site because it is populated by mature individuals. I agree with the search option, I just like that people don't blow up people who don't use it like on another certain Z website. Welcome back Dave, would like to meet you at MSA, just to say hello.

I WILL be at the MSA West Coast Nationals this year. I hope to meet as many of you as possible. Come on over, introduce yourself and shoot the ****e for a bit. Come meet my Beautiful Wife and give me a much needed "Atta Boy" on the work I've done on the car. I need that kinda thing to keep going. Plus it makes the 2400 mile round trip, worth it.

Thanks again to All. I didn't really wanna leave but the devil on my shoulder was pretty convincing at the time.

Nice to know you're sticking around Dave. We haven't meet, but hope to sometime in the future. Your opinions on my car would be greatly appriciated some time. This is more than a car community. I know I rarely post and go long stetches between log-on's (extremly busy), but I do value this site as one of my favorites and love the info gathered here....

Hope to meet many of the Pacific Northwest Z community sometime as I haven't met anyone around here....

Sit back and have a cold-one Dave. We enjoy your company....

    Dave,

Glad to know you're going to be around.

I agree with Montezuma about people having a short fuse about using the search function on some other sites.
I've enjoyed this site because of people like you and other transplants like Blue.

Thanks for all of your help and I just want to let you know you are appreciated.

    Dave,
We all have bad days, (or weeks), and I'm happy to hear you are not leaving. You have helped so many on this site it would be a shame to lose you. Glad both you & Mike worked it out. That shows character on all sides...

Dave, talked to you on the phone a long while ago (you were taking the girls (Sorry, ladies by now) out to the movies) but still took the time to give some clarification on your headlight harness upgrade.
Truly enjoyed the conversation, the great advice and felt an "instant kinship" as a relatively new member of the Z brotherhood.
Sooo glad you got this squared, you have too much knowledge to contribute and after all these years, you're too much like family to let go.
BTW, right after I read the post it reminded me to pony up so I sent the site a donation to help keep this site alive and help Mike out.

Thanks Bart, and it's conversations with customers like yourself that make it worth it sometimes. I really appreciate all the kind comments from everyone. like I said, it was a rash decision and one I hope to never make again. It was a bad day, let's just chalk it up to that.

    Thanks again guys.
