    Question Replacing tires, perelli P4

I am looking for new tires and have done a quick search online. The Perelli P4 seems ok, it's not fancy, not expensive and I can get it in 195 70 14 size. It's review ratings at tire rack are in the 80% range. Anyone familiar? Can anyone recommend a better reasonably priced tire?

You can look for Falken Azenis. I have them on my roadster in 14" 195x60. There are a fairly sticky tire and are reasonably priced.

    Default P4's

Here is a picture of Pirelli P4 195/70/14. Just put them on about a month ago. As far as how they handle, I dont have anything to compare them to because these are the 1st tires Ive had on the car. They were 353.00 including shipping to Richmond VA from Tire Rack. Also I mounted them myself and removed all the wheel weights from the wheels. It seems to be fine without having been balanced.

I have Yokohama Avid Touring-S (195/70-14). Purchased local but Tire Rack has them for less than $70 and the user rating is 92%. I'm very pleased with them and I drive HARD in sweepers, off-ramps, on-ramps and back country roads. Wet performance is acceptable. The wear has been negligable, considering how hard I push them.

I believe that you will be fine with the P4's. I am running Yokohama Avid-TRZ. Back in the day, I ran Pirelli P77's. It seemed like I could not wear them out. I do recall a bit of a stiff ride though - but it is a Z for petes sake. I loved those tires.
