I use chemsearch rust converter liquid that you wipe on with rag or a brush. Works really well! It's expensive but it does it's job
Hey guys,
Was thinking of using heaps of kill rust to stop surface rust and just rust in general to prevent it getting any worse.
You guys use kill rust in a pressure pack for this or is there something else I should get. My poor old SSS pulsar (young compared to the cars in here) needs a touch up, and I thought I'd practice on her before I go near a project car

What you need to do is stop the corrosion process. I use phosphoric acid rust converter. You can also use Tannic acid. Phosphoric acid comes in 1 or 4ltr containers. I have seen it in BBC and Bunnings hardware stores. Brush it on the rusty area and giverusty areas and give it time to dry.
Thanks for the ideas... Exactly I want to stop what's there, then go from there
