Will 280zx radiator fir my 240z

Does 280zx oe radiator fit my 240z without any installation problems?
I heard the 280zx radiator is bigger and it will hit the hood underneath ,
Can someone help me find oe 240z looking radiator ?
Anyone know the exact 240z radiator nissan part number?

Check out ebay if you're looking for an OE one. I think the Eagle Aluminum ones with a lifetime warranty are much better at performing their function. My '72 240z came with a 280zx radiator installed by the previous owner. It sat much lower towards the ground and the outlet was in the incorrect direction. Here's a picture of the aluminum 240z radiator (silver) I purchased compared to the 280zx (black).

i forget to say that my engine is L28 280ZX.
IS THE 280ZX RADIATOR WILL FIT PERFICTLY OR I HAVE TO BUY 240Z RADIATOR?

I have a 280zx radiator in my 240z, I had to ream out the mounting holes about 1mm to make them line up.
It fits under the hood, but the extra height of the radiator extends downwards.

Watch curbs, I smashed my plastic drain plug off on a friend's driveway, it's the lowest & farthest forward point.



Luckily the brass was soft and deformed instead of cracking, it still holds pressure fine. I replaced the plastic drain plug with a lower profile metal bolt I chopped down and added an o-ring.

You will need 280zx radiator hoses if you want to use the 280zx radiator.
