My bet would be that they're preparing to run some cars at Monterey for the Historics next week.
Has anyone done business with Classic Datsun Motorsports lately? I've sent them messages but haven't gotten a response. Are they still in business?

We are making a ZCON run up his shop today. What is that you are looking for j?
Les doesn't always respond or answer immediately. He's a great guy though, knows his ****! I've purchased a lot of stuff from him.

I'm never serious unless I should be.
I was interested in his seat cover/foam bundle. I think the price is $405 but I assumed that was for black. I was wondering what the price was for red. Does he have a phone number or is it strictly via e-mail?
He's got a number. Check his web page. Classic Datsun Motorsports
It's a busy time this week as everyone is at the zcar convention.

Gave him a call but went right to voice mail. I'll wait until things calm down a bit out there on the left coast. Thanks!
I talked to Les a couple weeks ago - be aware that if you need Red Seat Upholstery - at present they do NOT come with the correct original Silver or Nickel color air vents. Some were made with brass colored air vents and it seems now the air vents are smaller than OEM.
For many this wouldn't matter that much - but if you are going for Show or Concours correct restoration…it can be a problem. If you are very lucky you can take the original seat air vents out of your original upholstery - and put them in the new covers…
FWIW,
Carl B.
I just seen Les over the wknd; bought some goodies for my Datsun. Being a newb to the community from what I see; Busy shop, tons of great goodies! Give him time he'll get back to you. Just leave a clear detailed message.

Digital approach to an analog problem...
Not Les's thing. I'm amazed he has a website and admire him for not getting caught in the digital trap.
Use the phone.

Carl - is that true for everyone's red seat covers or just the ones Les is offering? I hate to spend the money and get something that doesn't accurately reflect the look of the originals.
