Can anyone send me the height and details between a 240z and 260z springs. Trying to purchase a set of rear OEM Factory used springs of a 260z and need to be sure they will give me the correct stock height on my 240z. Anyone has the information on the FSM? or a comparative chart?

Accirding to my Haynes manual--
Front coil springs--240----260
Wire diameter-----.417---.453
Free length-------15.1---15.5
Rear coil springs same for both 240 and 260.
Wire dia.--------.449
Free length-------15 inches
Hope this helps.
FWIW to help stop my 240 from squating at the rear on acceleration i fitted 260 front springs shortened a little, to the rear. Slightly stiffer but not too much
jalexquijano, any used springs you are considering are probably going to have 40 yrs of wear on them and will sit lower than the stock measurement. Why don't you put a .75" or 1" spacer between the top of your rear spring and the strut tower?
It doesn't sound from your past posts that you will be doing any racing and this additional height will make the car look level.
Hope this helps,
Chris

Is this for a early model 260z. There is a difference between early and late model.
