Does anyone know what parts will swap onto the C210?
Also does the C210's in OZ have IRS or some form of solid axle? Just that I found some C210 parts in OZ and want to know if I can use them on my car with IRS and rear discs etc.

Good idea Kent. Here's what I have in my car:
FRONT
King Springs LOW - $155
MONROE Shocks - 25-3938 - $223
REAR
King Springs LOW - (compressed 20mm from memory) - $ 205
MONROE Shocks - 15-0063 - $112
Aha, great table, i was just about to post a question regarding those urethane bushes. Lachlan, is that the price for the pair of monroes or individually. A friend has offered me a pair of kyb's for the front, however theyre awfully soft...both of my standard fronts are shot to ****, having dribbled out the last of their oil over the past few weeks....i may not have a choice...Okay so im being vague, but, monroe or kyb as a cheaper shock?

HGC110-008484 - Why didnt they just badge them as Skylines in Oz!?
That's for a pair I'm pretty sure. I want harder, but I think I'm a masochist.
In other news, saw a really nice and clean facelift C210 today. Four door, white and stock as a rock but still...

i was unable to download whiteline's pdf catalog, but i gleaned from another thread that you've got both the front and rear swaybars for your c110?

i sure do, the rear one is a generic type i think, havn't fitted that one yet though.
i had photo's up on my site, let me see if i can find it

let us know how things sort out (with pics please!)
i just viewed an auction that claimed the c110 and 280zx swaybars were interchangeable
which makes sense when you think the zx was the first "sedanified" z car

Get onto Whiteline for those link rubbers - they should be in the kit!
Most likely someone goofed in packaging.
Updated - looking at the pics of the kit I don't see any vertical links either!
These and the rubbers most certainly are NOT on most cars as they don't usually have a factory bar (at least not on the '73s)

just emailed them regarding the back link rubbers, i will wait for their response and then hit them up about the front ones too.
thanks for the encouragement![]()

received the following reply from whiteline:
The BDR5 kit doesn't come with the link bushes. The standard links and bushes are used for this application.
not quite sure which standard links and bushes he is talking about, unless it hooks up to the bottom of the shocks

Interesting reply from Whiteline.
Checked their catalogue and listing for a 240k is
Front: part BDF33 type R diameter 24mm price code C
Rear: part BDR5 type K diameter 18mm price code C
and the notes at the bottom of the page explain the types as
R = Replacement & K = Kit
now if BDR5 was type RK then I would accept the use of the original links as that means 'Replacement with kit' (their description).
So they obviously know that it is NOT a replacement and thus SHOULD know that links are not there in the first place!
Not good marketing!!
How about these guys/ I'm thinking of using them on my '71

Best,

looks like a nice product, but this is the 240 "K" forum...
i must admit, from the supplied instructions i couldn't be assed climbing under the back of the car to do this yet, especially when i still have a fair bit of work to get done to the rear, (plus it looks a little too complicated to think about yet
i did email them back, but yet to receive a reply

Update to rear kit links issue.

Thank you for your interest in Whiteline sway bars.
You are right on the money with you assumptions, our "replacement" type
sway bars are a direct replacement for the OEM sway bar and usually only
come with the D-bushes to allow fitment, usually the OEM end-links are
to be re-used. The "Kit" type of sway bars are for vehicles that do not
have a sway bar fitted as OEM, therefore they are supplied with all the
components required for the fitment.
I hope this helps you.

Wayne Cunningham

I would get back onto Whiteline and ask them for a full and detailed explanation of just how they expect the kit to be fitted without links.
Probably worthwhile emailing Wayne direct, at least you won't be dealing with a salesman!
thanks, wayne was the guy who has been answering my emails so far, i havn't recieved a reply as yet, so hopefully they are researching into it a little more now rather than a bog stock response.

Hi Kent,
My apologies, you are correct.
Unfortunately our fitting kit does not include these bushes, it is something that we are looking into including with this kit. Please let me know how many you believe you will need an I will have them posted to you.
Kind Regards,
Wayne Vickery

from the diagram, i assume there should be 4 link rubbers?

Two different Wayne's !!!
Wayne Vickery's answer sounds like a salesman so might be worth CC to Wayne Cunningham.
Anyway, I would expect the links to consist of:
2 links of suitable length
8 dished washers
8 nuts, locking variety
8 bushes ('rubbers')
That would fit out both sides.
You can determine the link length only on installation.
The bar ends should be reasonably close to parallel to the suspension trailing arm.
I would measure the distance between the bar and the trailing arm and give Whiteline that infornation. THEY can then supply the correct link kits.
I'm still assuming that you don't have the links themselves (2 short rods threaded on both ends, 8 dished washers and 8 self locking nuts).
edit/
From the second pic you posted, appears you may have the washers and nuts in the package directly below 'Test Pilot'.
I still don't see any evidence of the 2 short rods threaded on both ends.
So, part of the link kits, no links and no 'rubbers'!

well, i finally got some real feedback from technical wayne..
looks like they missed out quite a bit of kit.. in the kit...
he is going to post me out the missing parts (rubbers and links), and he has emailed me some photo's on how it is meant to go together (which is not written in the directions strangely..). i will post them up to my site now
i guess i must be a whiteline "test pilot" after all!

Hi,
Has any one got part numbers, company name for the "Sway Bar Mount To Chassis Bushing" (original size / 20mm) and the "Sway Bar Link Bushing" using urethane / polyurethane ?
I'm wanting to replace my original rubber bushes and have not found a replacement yet
