Datsun wheel identification help

Hi

I have a set of Datsun wheels part number (Nissan 40300R4671) I heard these wheels originally came off a skyline or roadster any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
These wheels were first fitted to the C111 (Nissan Skyline) on the Japanese domestic market, I'll get back to about the date, but it was mid '70s. This was not the only Nissan they were fitted to over the following years, we saw them in Australia on later Skylines, but I believe they (the C111 series) were the first. I'll see what else I can dig up on them.

I literally searched the world over to find one of those a while back. They were also used in the US as the alloy wheel for the 1979-80 Datsun 810.

First mention I can find is Sept. 1975, for the top of the line 1976 Skyline.
last one I can find is for the 1978-79 C210-211 series.
As Steve has pointed out, it's distribution was probably world wide, but not common.

I found three of those wheels in the junkyard about 2 years ago for $15 each! Finding the fourth was and adventure. I ended up buying one from a guy in Australia for $50aud and with shipping it was $111aud which is what about $70-75us? So all together my set of wheels cost $115-120.

DATSUN c210 from 1978 to 1980 ( 3 years ) with S letter hub cap
DATSUN c230 from 1978 to 1981 ( 4 years ) with D letter bub cap

0ur 810 was not supplied ith that.
